We are hiring for an Tree Watering Operative for our client based in Bridgwater. This is a contract due to start ASAP until October 2024. You will be undertaking maintenance of newly planted trees including regular watering, weeding, checking ties and stakes, topping up mulch and any other related task as directed by supervisor.

Job Description : -

  • Maintenance of newly planted trees including regular watering, weeding, checking ties and stakes, topping up mulch and any other related task as directed by supervisor.
  • Basic care and maintenance of the vehicle including checking fluid levels, tyre pressures and wear, bulbs etc. and to maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and tidy manner
  • Able to complete all necessary paperwork, including site visit records and vehicle checks.
  • Work will involve driving a van with trailer mounted water tank.

Candidate :-

  • Adapts work style to suit changing circumstances, such as weather conditions. And able to make minor changes to schedules to suit above conditions.
  • Takes care to evaluate environmental issues.
  • Demonstrates the ability to use hand-operated equipment appropriate for the role.
  • Able to read maps and follow written and verbal instruction
  • Essential to have a drivers license, and be over the age of 21.

Shift: -

  • Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 16:00pm and Friday 07:30am - 12:30pm
  • 37hrs a week
