Tree Officer needed in Bedford, £19.23ph PAYE - Reference: 5244824

The role is externally funded and therefore for a set over a 20 month period.

The project aspect of the role would be to deliver the planting programme, be it our urban plant or woodland creation. The officer will deal will all kind of aspect of the project from implementation stage of finding suitable land, Stakeholder communications, procurement of trees, planting (including aftercare programme)

To provide a professional arboricultural service in respect of the management of the Client's tree stock with the aim of fulfilling the statutory duties and conserving and enhancing the stock’s asset value.
Some of the key duties include;

> To inspect client tree stock across the parks and highway network
> Use the tree management software
> Assist with the client ree planting programme
> Provide technical details to a range of stakeholders
> To assist member of the public with tree enquires and provide technical details
> Issue works orders to the principal contractors.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
