Base Salary to £24,000 + Bonus and Benefits

Hybrid - Part Remote and Part Office - Hertfordshire

Due to growth and expansion, my client who is a well-established travel company is recruiting for customer service focused travel sales consultants to join their team.

They sell a niche product and are experiencing a large demand in enquires hence the expansion of the reservations team.

Ideally, candidates will have previous reservations and customer service skills gained within the travel industry although my client will consider candidates who recently gained travel & tourism qualifications and are seeking to develop a career within the travel industry.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis - Part remote and Part office based in Hertfordshire.

Travel Sales and Customer Service Consultant Duties and Responsibilities

Booking all aspects of the client's holidays as well as making amending to existing reservations

Providing a consultative approach to clients' needs

Building long term relationships with clients

Seizing opportunities to upsell products when they arise.

Travel Sales and Customer Service Consultant Skills and Attributes:

Previous travel industry experience preferred although candidates who have recently gained a travel and tourism qualification will also be considered.

Good telephone manner and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

Good Customer Services skills

Travel Sales and Customer Service Consultants Remuneration Package:

Base Salary to £24,000 + Bonus

20 days annual rising to 25 days annual leave after 2 years + 8 bank holidays
