Job Title: Transport Project/Programme Manager

Location: Ireland, Covering Dublin, Belfast and Cork predominantly. Hybrid role with travel.

Salary: 75,000 euros + bonus

We are partnered with a leading and continually fast developing, people centric Retailer, who are looking to build a more cohesive, efficient and sustainable Transport operation, through the right technology and working practices and they need YOU to help them achieve this.

As the Transport Project/Programme Manager, you will be responsible for implementing new technology to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the transport operation across the Business. This role also includes the management of the delivery assets and be responsible for increasing the revenue generated from these assets and continuously reviewing emerging technology that will improve our overall network efficiency, reduce costs and reduce our carbon footprint.

The key responsibilities of the role of Transport Project/Programme Manager include:

• Develop and project manage the roll-out of a new delivery asset management tracking system
• Develop & project manage the rollout of a new Transport Management System
• Review new emerging technologies and equipment that would increase productivity, reduce costs and reduce carbon footprint
• Budgetary control
• Working with internal stakeholders to develop processes and procedures in conjunction with the implementation of the TMS to ensure operation efficiencies.
• Management of 3rd party contracts, such as the delivery assets.
• Management of the procurement process the Transport operation.
• Review and develop strategies to increase revenue generated from the asset equipment
• Identify solutions to be market leading with our delivery asset equipment in sustainability.
• Ensure continued flow of equipment and development of systems to support the supply chain in delivering excellent customer service
