The Company

The client, an independent Transport Planning, and Infrastructure Design Consultancy, who specialising in enhancing the built and natural environment in a positive way, is looking for a Transport Planner to join the transport and infrastructure team in the central Manchester office. They work across a range of sectors including residential, health, education, retail, energy, Commercial and employment throughout the UK.

The Position as a Transport Planner

As a Transport Planner you will be involved in all streams of workflow, from the planning through to design and delivery. You will have the opportunity to contribute and manage a number of exciting complex projects where you will be advising and liaising with clients.

Essential Requirements of a Transport Planner

  • A degree in a related subject (MSc in Transport is desirable)
  • Experience with preparing transport statements, Assessments, Travel Plans and Construction Traffic Management Plans and inputs to Environment Impact Assessments.
  • Use of TRICS database
