About the role

Working any 5 in 7, 40 hours per week as the Transport Operator, we will offer you the opportunity to drive improvement towards delivering a first-class service to our customers whilst ensuring all deliveries and collections are on time.

You will be responsible for:

  • Customer Communication
  • Vehicle Defect Management and coordination of repairs
  • Assisting with Transport Compliance
  • Communicating with drivers via telematics systems
  • engage and actively build relationships with our customers to ensure repeat business
  • liaising with various stakeholders and dealing with any queries with may arise
  • Tracking vehicles and associated problem solving

About you

We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a Transport Office, although this is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess a positive "Can Do" attitude, capable of fostering positive relationships with both office staff and drivers. Being a team player, approachable, and friendly are essential qualities, as we value a modern culture where every team member is appreciated for their contributions. Holding a CPCTM (Certificate of Professional Competence in Transport Management) would be an advantage but not essential.
