Transport Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Operations Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our transportation operations, including fleet management, logistics, and personnel coordination. They will be responsible for optimising processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:
" Manage and coordinate transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching.
" Optimise overall financial efficiency of operation.
" Analysis of failed deliveries/ collections
" Oversee fleet maintenance, ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition and compliant with regulations.
" Planned vehicle allocation.
" Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
" Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
" Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
" Analyse and review all trunking operations.
" Daytime warehouse control

Requirements:
" Must have CPC Management
" Experience with Pallett distribution is essential.
" Proven experience in transportation operations management
" Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
" Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
" Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
" Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite
