FORS Accredited Transport Manager

Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a permanent Transport Manager for a prestigious company based near Redhill and this could be you! Our client is offering a salary of up to £50k per annum.

As a Transport Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of 15+ vehicles / multi-drop drivers.

Responsibilities include the continuous improvement of Route/Driver optimisation, ensuring all records (including vehicle records) are up-to-date and in line with FORS Accreditation (Bronze & Silver), performance assessments and KPI's, regular fuel audits in line, forecast and budget and assist with product collection and delivery to site and office addresses.

It is essential that you can work under pressure and meet deadlines while supporting and motivating your team.

Essential Skills

• Experience managing a fast-moving transport department including an internal fleet and the drivers.
• Motivator - a manager that keeps the teams highly motivated.
• Geographical knowledge - strong understanding of London and its road routes.
• Adaptability - be able to adjust to change quickly.
• Excellent communication - written and verbal.
• Strong leadership with good customer service skills.

Desirable Skills

• Logistics qualification
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics and Routing Software (Elogii)
• CPC
• Training role within a driving environment

Hours: Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 18:00, flexibility with hours is required.
