Job Title: Transport Co-Ordinator

Reports to: Inventory Manager

£33,000pa / Permanent

8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Ashford area

My client located close to Ashford is currently seeking a Transport Co-ordinator for their already existing team. The Transport Co-ordinator will be experienced in Import and Export procedures as well as shipping documentation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Transport Co-ordinator or Shipping support administrator to join an international company on a full-time permanent basis.

Strategic

· Achieve department objectives.

· Assist Inventory Manager to ensure all aspects of company packed stocks are met

Analytical

· Ensure all reports are accurate and issued on time

Responsibilities & Expertise

· Import/Export Documents Ash and R+T

· Trade Support export data upload onto gov system

· Container shipping information by orders(sharepoint Ash and R+T)

· Organising transport for DD orders from external suppliers (EU) for sales orders

· Placing DD order for external suppliers (EU)

· HMRC compliance audits/commodity codes Ashford and R+T

· Checking and signing Mersey invoices

· Transport - Ashford

· Transport quotations

· Import/Export documentation Ashford and R+T

· Availability list weekly for transport from Ardooie/Dujardin

· Transport for Strong Roots

· Raise export invoice paperwork for Ashford and R+T

· Maintain a full understanding of the legal requirements required within the department and also within the business to be able to operate with full legal compliance.

· Personally comply with all policies, procedures, and risk assessments to role and responsibilities
