8.45am-17.00pm - Monday to Friday, with 45 minutes for lunch break.

Additional hours maybe required due to traffic conditions.

Salary is dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Collection and Delivery Driver to join our client based in Swindon to deliver their products and collect tools to come back to site for maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Customer collections from various locations within the UK, up to the Manchester region.
• Bringing customer collections back to the Head Office.
• Making customer deliveries of product as and when required, including unloading when at the customer destination and asking customers to sign the necessary paperwork.
• Carrying our regular maintenance checks on the van and advising the Team Leader of any issues.
• Interacting with their customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Using GPS navigation apps to direct you to the customer’s site.

Skills/Requirements

• The ability to drive a transit van.
• A clean driving licence and a UK Driver’s licence.
• An ability to concentrate to ensure road safety.
• Excellent communication skills, with both the customer and the internal teams.
• The ability to work well independently.
• Able to use a GPS navigation app competently.
• Understand manual handling and be able to safely lift large boxes/containers.
