Position: Transactional Accounts Manager

Salary: up to £40,000

Location:Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

Term: Full-time, Permanent

Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with a dynamic company based in the heart of Leamington Spa, who are committed to providing exceptional services to their clients, and provide their employees with an award-winning induction package. As part of their expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join them as a Transactional Accounts Manager. (reporting to the Finance Director). We are only open to considering candidates with Team Leader/Supervisory or Managerial experience within an Accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and supervision of the accounts team, ensuring high work standards and personal development
  • Reviewing work and creating development plans to enhance team performance
  • Distributing and monitoring workloads, providing daily support to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Liaising with other managers to develop and implement efficient processes
  • Handling General Ledger duties, including head office invoices and monitoring annual client budgets
  • Overseeing all aspects of the accounts department, including processing client and head office information, producing monthly client accounts, and managing financial reconciliations
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO procedures and financial regulations
  • Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with long-term business planning
  • Managing financial reports and adhering to all financial requirements and deadlines
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing necessary changes
  • Maintaining regular communication with operations and head office staff
  • Conducting performance reviews and promoting a fair and equitable working environment
  • Recruitment and selection of departmental roles as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or Manager within an Accounts/Finance team
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to improve processes and functionality
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in IT, including MS Excel, and/or preferable MS Dynamics or Sage packages
