Trainer - Learning & Development

We are seeking a Trainer to join our clients Learning & Development Team, who will play a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive suite of training modules. This position requires a deep understanding of the Training sector or financial services industry, particularly mortgage lending, and the relevant regulatory and compliance disciplines. The Trainer will be instrumental in ensuring that the business delivers effective, best practice compliant services that meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Day to day of the role:
  • Deliver robust learning and development training modules, including induction programmes, customer engagement practices, technical and regulatory subjects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure training delivery aligns with Consumer Duty guidelines to achieve good customer outcomes.
  • Create an engaging and holistic training environment for a diverse audience using a variety of resources and tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to support, coach, and deliver effective solutions for Servicing development needs.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, maintaining high standards of written and verbal communication.
  • Organise workload efficiently to meet deadlines and complete tasks thoroughly.
  • Measure and maintain high standards of training output to ensure results-focused outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable training experience or deeply experienced in Financial Services.
  • Good understanding of the mortgage lending market and applicable regulations/codes.
  • Level 3 CIPD qualification in Learning and Development, or equivalent is preferred
  • CEMAP Module 1 qualification or willingness to start within the first year
  • Creativity in training delivery and the ability to engage a wide audience.
  • Effective team member with a supportive, enthusiastic, credible, and cooperative attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to identifying effective solutions.
  • Results-focused with a drive to maintain high performance standards.
