Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer

Salary: Up to £25,000

Location: Midlands Area - Remote Position

Hunter Mason’s client is a well-established water treatment & hygiene company, working up and down the UK on a mixed range of customer sites. Due to rapidly expanding growth, our client is now offering the chance for a candidate with 1 year water treatment experience to join their team and be trained up to a more senior position.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and disinfection of showers
  • Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
  • Carrying out TMV checks and maintenance
  • Checking and disinfection of calorifiers
  • Completing all work on in house software using an iPad

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a trade role, delivering high quality customer service
  • Passion and dedication to develop your career within water hygiene
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
  • The ability to work as part of a team, as well as on your own
  • The ability to use IT equipment such as and iPad and Mobile Phone
  • Excellent time-keeping
  • Full UK, manual, driving licence, Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK.
  • Water Hygiene: 1 Year (preferred)
  • Knowledge of hot & cold-water systems including TMV servicing: 1 Year (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Legionella Control with ACOP L8 & HSG274: 1 Year (preferred)
