Future Trainee Teachers required in Swindon to work as Cover Supervisors and cover lessons in secondary schools starting in September 2024 - July 2025!
Are you a college leaver or Graduate looking for work, considering a career in Education as a Teacher? Or looking to become a Cover Supervisor in a Secondary school in Swindon? Perhaps you are semi-retired and looking for extra income?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for dedicated and flexible individuals who are considering a career as a Teacher or Cover Supervisor to join us and train to become a Cover Supervisor and work in a lovely secondary school in the Swindon area. This position is to work in a large secondary school covering lessons of various subjects. The work will be set and your job would be to deliver the lesson plan to the class and ensure that the students are getting the work done within the allotted time frame. You will be confident, enthusiastic, friendly, a great communicator and be educated to A level preferably. The rate of pay is from £100 per day starting in September Monday to Friday from 08.30am - 3.30pm every day. We can work around you so if you cannot commit to 5 days then we can offer you work on the days that you are free. This work will suit a graduate or a Master's student, or even perhaps a parent who is looking for a change of career or considering a career as a Teacher!

Previous experience of working with children or young people is advantageous but not essential. What is essential is that you are energetic, enthusiastic, engaging, fun, a great communicator, have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, and are committed to learning how to become an excellent Cover Supervisor!

To join us and be successful in this role as a Trainee Cover Supervisor in Swindon, you will need to:
Have experience of working with young people aged 11-16 (preferable but not essential if you have the right attitude and personality).
Have A Levels (preferably) in English, Maths, Science, Business, Drama, Psychology, Humanities or Sports based
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks (which we can assist with)
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
