Location: Uxbridge

Hours:

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Mon-Fri - Occasional weekends)

• 35-hour week, 1.5 for overtime

Pay: £21,000 per annum

Type: Permanent

About: Parkside Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Sign Installation Technician to join a local leading provider of high-quality sign and graphics solutions.

About:

As a Trainee Sign Installation Technician, you will work closely with their production team to learn and develop the skills required to professionally install a wide range of signs and graphics.

This position is ideal for recent college leavers, graduates, or individuals looking to transition into a new career path.

Requirements:

• This includes, but is not limited to, fitting signs, installing wallpaper, vinyl, and cutting materials as necessary.
• The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, able to follow detailed instructions, and have a keen eye for detail.
• Prior experience in electrical work, shop fitting, warehouse operations, or sign making is a plus but not required.
• All applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to work the occasional weekend.
• Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this is a permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of various signs and graphics according to company standards.
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications.
• Learn and develop skills related to cutting materials, installing wallpaper, and vinyl.
• Always follow health and safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and always maintain a professional demeanour.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Previous experience in electrical work, shop fitting, warehouse operations, or sign making preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and ad hoc hours.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
