Trainee Recruitment Consultant - £24k (£25k after probation)

Education People are a busy independent education agency based on Whiteladies Road in Bristol. We place primary and secondary teachers and support staff into schools across the Southwest, covering day to day and long-term contracts.

We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our established team. No day is the same and due to the growth of the business we are looking for some pro-active, driven individuals who want to learn about running a desk of their own & become successful recruitment consultants.

This is working in a fast-paced environment and requires someone who is quick thinking, adaptable and works well under pressure as bookings can come in at short notice and you have to think on your feet! The role is very rewarding, and you get a real sense of achievement through helping schools with staffing needs and teachers get work.

A great way to learn about the world of recruitment whilst being in the rewarding and friendly industry that is education. You will be working in a fully supported office, where your colleagues will help with all aspects of your role so you will be able to focus on growing your desk. With the right attitude this will be achievable very quickly and you will be able to hit the ground running

The role includes:?

  • Identify and source candidates through various channels.
  • Screen and interview potential candidates.
  • Call and email contact daily to candidates and clients re bookings.
  • Building rapport with clients and candidates- new and existing
  • Confirming bookings with candidates and clients
  • Make changes and decisions at short notice.
  • Business Development

Working Hours on a rota basis:

  • Monday-Friday 7am-5pm/8am-5pm/ 8am - 4pm

We are looking for someone who is:?

  • Comfortable talking on the phone.
  • Motivated.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hardworking.
  • Quick-thinking.
  • Able to work to deadlines.?
  • Able to prioritise?and multitask.
  • Not afraid to get stuck in and prove themselves.

Experienced required:?

  • Previous sales experience and happy to make outbound sales calls.??
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Strong admin background desired.
  • Worked towards deadlines and targets.
