This school is an independent special day school for pupils with identified social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs and social communication difficulties. Some children have been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, and all pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Being in a more rural location, they place a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, through subjects including: Horticulture, Forest School, Horse Riding and Equine Studies. They also deliver multiple creative subjects, such as, Ceramics, Food Technology and Art & Textiles. Therefore, they are looking for someone who is happy and keen to participate in all subjects across the school.

For this particular role, the hours are 8.45 - 4.00, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8.45 - 4.30 on Wednesday and Friday 8.45 - 3.30.

Applications for the position are welcome from candidates of ranging experience, and training will be provided, although previous experience working with students with SEMH, particularly attachment and trauma is preferable.
