Trainee Paraplanner

Salary up to £35,000 (Experience dependant)
  
Exam support and Funding
23 days annual leave, which increases by a day after Year 1, up to 28 days after 2 years of service.
  
Our client is a highly progressive and buoyant Firm of Independent Financial Planners who maintain an excellent relationship for providing bespoke Financial Advice to their Clients.
  
As a result of ongoing growth and recent promotions an excellent opportunity has become available for an aspiring Paraplanner to join their organisation. The successful candidate will be working closely with a team of Paraplanners and Financial Planners to present bespoke suitability reports.
Duties:
  • Undertaking analysis and proposing solutions for individual clients.
  • Compilation of research material for individual clients.
  • Obtain illustrations/quotes for all new business, together with supporting literature.
  • Liaison with clients, providers, and consultants to obtain required information.
  • Problem solving on complex cases.
  • Report writing, ensuring that all compliance matters are covered in the suitability report as per Paradigm/FCA guidelines.
  • Handling on-going servicing queries on behalf of the advisers.
  • Establishing and maintaining files and records and ensuring outstanding data requirements are followed up.
  • Working alongside our advisers.
  • Telephone answering as and when required.
  • To meet and greet customers and insurance representatives as and when required.
To be considered you will need to have industry related experience and will ideally be working towards industry related exams, OR be passionate about obtaining the Level 4 Diploma.
