Trainee Mechanical Inspector

We are recruiting for an Trainee Mechanical Inspector for a well established Aerospace company based on Poole, Dorset.  

Salary:

£11.50 - £15 per hour depending on experience and skills. 

Hours:

Start at 7am or 8am and finish at 4pm or 5pm with flexibility available. Monday to Friday with options to condense hours into less days. 39 hours per week basic.  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Some experience within mechanical or general engineering
• Good standard of engineering ability 
• Have some experience in the aerospace or similar industry.

Responsibilities:

• conduct inspection operations within the KANBAN manufacturing facility
• ensure the KANBAN process flow is un-interrupted and required delivery schedule [per specified dates/day] is supported.
• record & report all internal & supplier defects
• ensure products & final release documentation is supplied to customer defect free
• ensure where unavoidable errors occur, they are detected as early as possible during the manufacturing process and not at the pre-treatment or final inspection stage.
• maintain Quality Records/documentation in accordance with BOCS-04
