Trainee IT Installation Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee IT Installation Engineer. The position will involve undertaking IT & EPoS (Point of Sale) installation, upgrades, configuration and customer training to retail and hospitality customers UK wide
Details of the role:
- Carrying out IT Hardware & EPoS installation, upgrades and configuration
- Field based role, going to multiple retailers and hospitality establishments
- Providing customer training on how to use the point of sale systems
- Providing technical support from the office when not out in the field
- Some field based support required when problem cannot be resolved over the phone / remote services
- Frequent stays away from home will be applicable when working further afield
Requirements:
- Candidate will have a relevant IT certification or qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Full training will be provided on Epos systems
- The training for this position is 4-6 weeks, it will be all expensed in Ireland but will involve being away from home
Working hours:
- Working Monday - Friday daytime work (9am - 5:30pm)
Package:
- £18,000 starting salary with salary increments up to £23,000
