Trainee IT Installation Engineer

Have you recently completed an IT degree/qualification and looking for your first career within the IT industry?
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee IT Installation Engineer. The position will involve undertaking IT & EPoS (Point of Sale) installation, upgrades, configuration and customer training to retail and hospitality customers UK wide

Details of the role:

• Carrying out IT Hardware & EPoS installation, upgrades and configuration
• Field based role, going to multiple retailers and hospitality establishments
• Providing customer training on how to use the point of sale systems
• Providing technical support from the office when not out in the field
• Some field based support required when problem cannot be resolved over the phone / remote services
• Frequent stays away from home will be applicable when working further afield

Requirements:

• Candidate will have a relevant IT certification or qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Full training will be provided on Epos systems
• The training for this position is 4-6 weeks, it will be all expensed in Ireland but will involve being away from home

Working hours:

• Working Monday - Friday daytime work (9am - 5:30pm)

Package:

• £18,000 starting salary with salary increments up to £23,000
