Stonebridge is pleased to be exclusively recruiting for a Trainee Insolvency Associate to join a highly reputable firm of Insolvency Practitioners. This is a unique opportunity to learn from a small team of licensed insolvency practitioners with over 100 years’ of experience within the industry. You will receive constant encouragement and training to develop your career, as well as the opportunity to pursue further professional qualifications if desired. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, with a strong academic background. In return, you will gain invaluable exposure to the resilient Insolvency sector, from complex insolvency portfolios to working with several international clients if desired. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team in delivering professional restructuring and insolvency services
  • Work with specific insolvency software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CCH
  • Preparation of reports, proposals, presentations, letters, notes, invoices, and ad hoc documents including mail merges
  • Maintaining records of receipts and payments
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries and passing on messages accurately
  • The cases you will be supporting are predominantly focused on bankruptcies and Receiverships.

Requirements:

  • You will be interested in a career in insolvency with a willingness to learn quickly
  • Previous experience within a professional/office environment
  • Great commercial acumen
  • Numerically proficient
  • A Levels - minimum grades A to C
  • Educated to degree level (preferable)
  • You will have good people and communication skills, able to confidently deal with potentially challenging situations
  • Demonstrable experience working within the Insolvency sector is preferred but not essential
