Trainee Estate Agent - Residential Sales

Canary Wharf, East London

Starting salary up to £22,000 per annum, depending on experience

PLUS uncapped commission scheme, OTE in first year approx £30,000 pa

Monday to Thursday; 8:45am to 6.00pm, Friday; 8:45am to 5:00pm, Saturdays (on rota basis); 10:00am to 4:00pm

Requirements

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and tenacious person with excellent customer service skills to take their first step into the property industry, supported by an award winning training program along with working with experts in their field.

As an Estate Agent, the main responsibility of this role is to negotiate the sales of residential properties to agree a deal with both parties.

Daily activities will include;

• Negotiate the sales of residential properties in sufficient quantity to meet agreed performance targets

• Generate & complete a targeted number of viewings and market appraisals per week
• Convert viewings to offers
• Negotiate offers to complete the deals
• Progress sales through to completion
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service throughout the process

The ideal candidate would have/ be;

• Proven working experience as a Sales Consultant in any industry, with a solid record of achieving & exceeding targets

• Previous experience working in the property industry would be advantageous but is not essential
• Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong sales, negotiation and articulate communication skills
• Tenacious and resilient with a drive to succeed
• Pleasant and trustworthy manner
• MS Office familiarity, and IT literate
