Would you like to become a Careers Adviser? This charity will train you. What’s more they are a great place to work (Investors in People Gold).  28 days leave (plus bank hols) and up to 10% matching pension contribution. They will pay for you to obtain the CIAG accredited careers advisor qualification to level 4 (and later level 6). 

You get to work from home one day a week for paperwork.  And the rest of the time you are out and about hot desking in mostly local job centres, community centres and the odd library.  The aim of your role is to deliver a one-to-one advice and guidance sessions to help someone move towards education or employment. In each session you will find out what their aims, goals and barriers are.  Then put in place an action plan for them to help get there.  You will also support with a few practicalities such as helping them put a CV together or researching educational courses.  You will typically deliver 3 – 4 sessions a day with customers.

You will be happy to travel across Swindon, Trowbridge, Chippenham and the Devizes.

To apply for this role, you must be great with people, super organised and great at working to targets at a fast pace – so your experience must reflect this.  You might have previously worked as a recruitment consultant, sales executive, careers advisor, employment advisor, customer service officer or retail associate.
