Trainee Accountant

Are you passionate about pursuing a career in the accountancy profession? Our client, one of the leading accountancy firms in Oxford and Witney, is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Trainee Accountant.

As a Trainee Accountant, you will have the opportunity to kick-start or further your career in accountancy. Whether you're a recent school leaver with A levels or a graduate with a degree, they welcome applicants with good numeracy skills and a passion for client care.

What's on offer?

You will be based in either their Oxford or Witney office, with flexible working arrangements available. They also offer a full study support package, flexible working hours, and opportunities for career advancement. You will receive tuition for either AAT or ACCA, along with training support and mentoring from experienced colleagues.

Ideal candidate:

• A levels or equivalent qualifications for studying ACCA (minimum two A levels)
• Strong numeracy and interpersonal skills
• Previous relevant experience is advantageous but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow within the profession

The role will involve a variety of tasks, including:

• Accounts preparation for different types of entities
• Audit work
• VAT returns preparation
• Management accounts preparation
• Bookkeeping
