Are you currently working as an Trainee Accountant within an accountancy practice but looking for more variety in your role, paired with excellent study support? This Trainee Accountant role provides paid study leave and a generous salary of £24,000 - £28,000.

My client, based in Ipswich, is currently looking for a Trainee Accountant to join their friendly and busy accounts team.

This Trainee Accountant role offers great variety, that includes:

  • Preparation of year end accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Supporting on audits and have the option to participate in audits and visit client’s sites.
  • Corporate and personal tax returns
  • P11D's and preparing client statements for Companies House
  • VAT returns


Ideally, to be successful as an Trainee Accountant at this firm you will be:

  • A minimum of AAT level 3 qualified (or studying L4 AAT/ACA/ACCA)
  • Have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience within practice in a similar role.
  • Have a professional demeanour and meticulous attention to detail.
