Role Overview: As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the accounts team, managing client accounts, and contributing to the successful delivery of accounting services. Your responsibilities will include preparing accounts, tax returns, and providing general bookkeeping support. This role offers a fantastic chance to enhance your accounting skills, work within a collaborative team, and contribute to the practice's ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accounts and financial statements for a range of clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records using accounting software.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address queries.
  • Support senior accountants with complex tasks and projects.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and tax laws.
  • Contribute to team discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • AAT qualified or studying towards AAT qualification.
  • Prior experience working within accounts, preferably in a practice setting.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate work.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration and client interactions.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing accounting expertise.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
