Trade Store Assistant

Role Summary

You will be responsible for serving customers with excellence, maintaining store presentation, and managing stock operations. Utilise NetSuite systems proficiently, fostering positive relationships across various departments. Flexible to assist in diverse tasks as needed.

Main role / Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service from entry to exit.
  • Maintain trade counter is stocked, clean and visually appealing.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, assist in daily stock counts, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Quickly adapt to and master NetSuite computer systems.
  • Regularly meet with the manager for performance feedback and development discussions.
  • Promote the brand through various initiatives, embodying their values and culture.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Proficient in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Driven to achieve targets and goals.
  • Preferably possesses basic product knowledge of building materials / industry; further training will be provided.
  • Strong IT literacy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent time and team management abilities.
  • Clear communication with a hands-on work ethic.
  • Forklift licence and workplace first aid certification preferred but not essential.

Pay / Benefits / Working hours

  • Salary £24-26k
  • Mon-Fri 0630-1630
