An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Town Planner to join a growing planning consultancy as part of their established Birmingham based team. The successful Town Planner will have the opportunity to work on a verity of exciting projects within the residential, commercial, retail and mixed use sectors.
Qualifications and Experience:
For this position applications are sought from candidates who have a relevant RTPI accredited degree, who are working towards Chartered Town Planner statu and have previous town planning experience, preferably within a consultancy environment.
Duties:
- Preparing planning appraisals for land and buildings
- Preparing planning applications and planning statements
- Writing reports and making recommendations
- Liaising with clients and planning officers
- Undertaking research and analysis
