Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing Renewable Energy Developer in their hire of a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Planning Manager to their London based team!

The team is collectively responsible for developing, constructing, and operating utility scale energy projects in the UK, raising over 5.8 billion in funds for renewables projects and generating 6GW of renewable energy!

The team are hands on from the offset, through developing, building, and operating. From early consultation to gaining permissions, building with consideration, and operating sites effectively, their mission is to forge strong partnerships to deliver viable, sustainable, and mutually beneficial projects.

The current team is made up of 30 multidisciplinary specialists, with an internal Planning, Land, and Development team of 10. They are now expanding the team due to a very health pipeline of work, and are seeking an experienced Planning Manager, ideally with some previous experience within renewables, however candidates with varying backgrounds who have a keen interested in getting into the renewables sector are encouraged to apply!
