Toolroom Improver.Are you ready to shape the future of steel manufacturing?My client, a premier family-owned manufacturer of cold rolled metal sections and bespoke profiles, is seeking passionate individuals, in this case a toolroom improver, to join their dynamic team. You will be looked after with family values still evident today in this changing landscape.A toolroom improver is required for repair/maintenance of pierce/cut-off press tools.The role is ideal for someone looking to improve in toolmaking & design work.Skills/Abilities:
  • Use standard toolroom machinery.
  • Read engineering drawings.
  • Work on own initiate and take responsibility for own output and work area.
  • Work in a team environment across cross functional departments.
  • Auto-cad knowledge an advantage but not essential.
We need someone who is a team player with an open mind, a good work ethic, willing to get stuck in & bring knowledge to the company. You will need to have good organisational skills & work well under pressure. Most importantly you will need to work safely, in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.This is a day shift role.08:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday & 08:00-15:00 Fridays. 39 hours per week total.Salary per year will be dependent on experience.
