Job role: Toolroom Assistant

Location: Birmingham B6

Shifts: Days 7am till 3:30 Monday to Friday.

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience

The Company:

A world class tooling manufacturer specializing in manufacturing tools for several high-profile industries. They are seeing an increase in orders meaning a need to increase their headcount. The Toolroom Assistant position:

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a manufacturing background to join the business in a permanent position, it is a great opportunity for someone wanting to build a future in engineering/manufacturing, open to manufacturing areas such as CNC, grinding, metal work.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Able to work on the computer confidently (Microsoft.)
  • Experience with tools, busy manufacturing environment /Warehouse.
  • Organised / energetic / good with time management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to correctly interpret engineering drawings. (Advantage.)
  • Full training will be given as they use in house machines.
