Location: Huddersfield
Contract: Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Monday to Friday with shifts between 08:00-20:00, Saturday shift between 09:00-17:00, no more than once per month.

We’re seeking a talented Third Party Intervention Claims Handlers to join our dynamic team at FMG, where you will be responsible for proactively contacting third party claimants and arranging claims management services on behalf of our clients.  You will play a crucial role in accurately assessing incident liability, offering our services, objection handling and managing the repair processes while maintaining a strong focus on operational targets.

You will aim to mitigate claim costs by proactive claims management, accurate data capture and supplier allocation, all while delivering a friendly and efficient service. You will have the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of people on a daily basis, allowing you to adapt your approach and provide a personalised experience.

About You

  • Experience in motor insurance claims would be beneficial, but is not essential.
  • You’re a real people person, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • You have a competitive edge and a real drive to achieve targets.
  • You’ll hold a professional, personable, and positive telephone manner, with the ability to show lots of empathy, build good rapport and actively listen to our customers’ needs.
  • You have ambition in wanting to learn and develop your knowledge of third-party motor claims and fleet management.
  • You’re confident with the use of computer software systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • You possess a strong ‘can-do’ attitude, showing your determination and ambition to succeed, being prepared to go above and beyond.
  • You thrive in a team-working environment, where you can effectively collaborate with others and exhibit your critical thinking skills.
