This enthusiastic SEN school is looking for a passionate therapy assistant to join their team, working alongside a full therapy team on site for staff and students. This therapy assistant will be responsible for the implementation of Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, ELSA and Educational Psychologist advised interventions in a Specialist SEN secondary School setting. This therapy assistant will ideally have experience working alongside occupational therapists or have a relevant therapy qualification and within a school setting.

The perfect therapy assistant will implement, and review therapy interventions as identified by the therapy team and liaising with the SENCO, through assessment and as set out as part of a Statement of Special Educational Needs or Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), to allow students to achieve their potential in all characteristics of their lives. This therapy assistant will also attend appropriate multidisciplinary student reviews and team meetings, encouraging our school policies are followed and any appropriate protocols are taken.
