NonStop Care is looking for a Supervising Social Worker who can join a well established Independent Fostering Agency in the North East of England.

In this role you will be joining a not for profit Independent Fostering Agency with a Good Ofsted rating. They are a charity, meaning they re-invest their profits back into the service to make sure they are constantly improving. As a result, you will be working in a very good and supportive working environment.

They are a therapeutic IFA and they provide ongoing therapeutic training. They have set up a psychologist support service which means that all of the Supervising Social Workers and the foster families have access to a psychologist on a regular basis. They have workshops and also individual consultations, allowing you to help the children that have experienced trauma recover.

Responsibilities:

The Supervising Social Worker will oversee a caseload of 10 - 13 foster families in the North East England. The role involves mainly providing support and supervision to the foster families.

This is a hybrid role, meaning you can do some of the work from home and some from their office in North Shields.

Requirements:

Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker and if you have experience in working in fostering or within a LAC team. You must have a Social Work Degree and a driving license also.
