Kickstart your career in a nurturing environment!

Work towards a Level 2 or 3 Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care while living and working in a friendly, inclusive community.

The Care Apprenticeship is a two-year programme in one of communities in Bognor, Brecon, Ipswich, Kent, and Highland. You will support our members with learning disabilities to live full lives while working towards your qualification. The programme is the perfect preparation for a career in care: you’ll share life with people with learning disabilities, while learning best practice in the Health and Social Care field.

I was a different person at the end of a year in L’Arche versus the beginning. There aren’t many workplaces you can say that about. Sarah, Live-in at L’Arche Manchester

Could the Care Apprenticeship be for you?

The Care Apprenticeship would work for people at lots of different stages of life. Maybe you’re eighteen, wanting or needing to move away from home but not keen on university. Maybe you’re at the beginning of your career. Or maybe you’re later in life but looking for more life-giving work.

Join our close-knit community and launch yourself into a new stage of life.

*The Care Apprenticeship is for anyone who already has the right to live and work in the UK. If you want to join L'Arche but need a visa, please consider applying to become a Live-In Community Worker.
