About the Job

  • With a salary up to £35k DOE and a 4-day working week, you will be able to enjoy an extended weekend. Current hours are Monday-Thursday 7am-6:15pm.
  • State of the art machinery that is used to create high end worsted clothing.
  • You will be responsible for repairing loom malfunctions as and when reported by the weavers.
  • Checking the first cup sample and recording the construction of the fabric at the start of the new warp.
  • It would be your responsibility to report any re-ordering of stock as required.

About You

  • You will either be an experienced Loom Technician or a mechanically minded individual with a solid background in weaving.
  • With a keen eye for detail, you will be able to check and repair machinery and provide the correct maintenance as and when necessary.
  • Ideally, you will have previous experience with Dornier or Rapier looms and be able to complete loom check out sheets.
  • It is essential to have good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • You will be methodical in your approach to work.

A manufacturer of high-end worsted textiles products, producing some of the finest cloth in the UK.

Please note this role consists of 30 days fixed holidays.
