Are you a Test Engineer seeking a new role in Cambridge?

My client, a Fire Research company who specialise in UK fire resistance and product development are seeking a Test Engineer to join their team, based in the Cambridge area.

Main purpose for the Test Engineer role will be to carry out testing and testing related activities to meet with client requirements, and in accordance with the CFR Quality System.

Key Responsibilities for the Test Engineer based in Cambridge:

-Liaising with clients to ensure that their requirements are fully met and all required information and components have been received prior to test.

-Working with the team to ensure that all test preparations, testing and test reports are completed to specification and on time.

-Ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the CFR QA system and BS EN ISO 17025.

-Fitting instrumentation, measuring and checking the products that are to be tested.

-Conducting tests in accordance with the requirements of the appropriate test standard and approved procedures.

-Data processing, preparation of AutoCAD technical drawings and test reports following the requirements of our quality manual and the test standard.
