Role: Test Engineer

Duration: 2 Months

Location: Fully Remote

Rate: £550 per day (umbrella)

My client is the UK's largest electricity transmission and distribution business in the UK. They are looking for a Test Engineer

Job role:

Working as part of the Traveller Programme and reporting into the Programme Manager, to be responsible for the overall coordination, orchestration and reporting (but not execution) of Testing activity across all areas of the programme including defect management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Consolidated Testing Plan.
  • Testing Dashboard(s).
  • Testing Summary Report(s).
  • Testing Outcome Report(s).
  • Defect Management Tracker(s).

Desirable Experience

  • Strong background in all areas of testing.
  • Ability to drive testing as the sole QA team member.
  • REST APIs.
  • Web Applications.
  • Knowledge of development & Testing best practise.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Agile development.
  • System architecture.
  • Data pipelines.
  • Test Rail or similar.
  • SQL Server.
  • K6 or Jmeter.
  • Postman
