Duties Include :

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the key liaison between Sofina Foods and Tesco, nurturing a positive and collaborative partnership.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical guidance and support, ensuring that all products meet Tesco's rigorous quality and safety standards.
  • Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of Tesco's technical requirements, ensuring strict adherence to all regulations and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes, audits, and inspections to guarantee product excellence.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively address any technical issues, working closely with internal teams to find effective solutions and prevent future challenges.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation related to product specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency, benefiting both Sofina Foods and Tesco.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to both Sofina Foods and Tesco leadership, outlining technical performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

Skills and Experience Required :

  • Technical Proficiency: A strong technical background in food manufacturing or a related field.
  • Client Focus:Proven experience in managing client relationships, preferably within the retail sector and specifically with Tesco.
  • Quality Assurance: In-depth knowledge of quality assurance processes, food safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Problem Solver: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with Tesco and internal teams.
  • Detail-Oriented: Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Continuous Improvement: A commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing client needs and industry standards.
  • Relevant Qualifications: A degree or relevant certifications in food science, food technology, or a related field.
