Based Richmond upon Thames area
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour
Duration: 3 months (with potential to go permanent)
Hours: 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. Weekends required as well
Start: ASAP
Our client is looking for an experienced events administrator to join their team on a temporary basis to help them through this busy period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for queries regarding events, providing accurate responses and first-class customer service.
- Overseeing and processing events bookings
- Arranging and preparing brochures for inquiries
- Liaising and working in relation with other departments about client needs or requirements
- Negotiating events over the telephone
- Chasing up calls and efficiently communicating with clients
- Providing administrative support to the events team all events as required
- Collating event packs and materials and arranging transportation of event equipment; and proofreading event materials
- Implementing systems to record all event data to be used for event marketing and planning, including research activity to audit and inform future event decisions
- Identifying and utilizing financial strategy and negotiations to boost the parameters of an event within a client’s budget
- Organizing samples and previews of all vendor supplies (entertainment, food, drinks, etc)
- Attracting new clients and maintaining sound and healthy relationships with pre-existing customers or clients through excellent communication, advertising, and feedback.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- IT Savvy including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with good and particular attention to detail
