Temporary Credit Controller / Collections
Your new role:
Due to an increase in aged debt, my client is looking to recruit a skilled credit controller / collector to join them on a temporary basis. Your duties will include:
- Calling customers to discuss over-due payments
- Sending chase emails and letters
- Working with the customer and other internal departments to resolve any queries that are delaying payment
- Keeping customer records updated and accurate
- Discussing and setting up payment plans as required
- Providing excellent levels of customer service, while still ensuring that payment is collected
- Working with the rest of the credit control team to reduce debtor days inline with targets
What you'll need to succeed
You will be available to start a temporary assignment, and have previous experience in a credit control (b2b) or collections (b2c) role. You will be confident picking up the phone and speaking to a range of customers regarding overdue payments. As with all credit control jobs, you will need excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
