One of our fantastic clients in the fashion publishing industry is looking for a temporary Archive & Digital Collections Coordinator.

They are looking for someone to assist with both, the running of the archive and library and the upkeep of their digital database, as well as scanning images and supplying research to other departments where needed.

This is a hands-on role, and as such you will be onsite regularly. Though working from home on occasion is possible. There is also some data entry work also associated with this role.

Your duties will include:

  • Upkeep of the archive and library (rehousing of items, tracking book returns, maintenance of collections)
  • Some data entry into their system
  • Supplying research when required, either through digital search or hand search
  • Proper handling, retrieval and returning of valuable and fragile materials
  • Scanning of items for digitisation (training will be given)
  • Other day to day and admin type roles associated with the running of an archive

The finer details:

  • Start date - Monday 1st April
  • End date - Friday 27th September
  • Location - Mainly office based in central London
  • Hours - 9am - 5pm
  • Rate - £15/hr
