My client, a West London housing provider, has a fantastic opportunity for a Move On Officer within their Temporary Accommodation team. This is a Hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office / on site visits.

Your main duties will include;

  • To support residents in temporary accommodation to secure alternative, suitable and
    affordable accommodation.
  • To act as a key point for residents experiencing homelessness to match them to
    accommodation available. Ensuring objective, targets and quality standards are met
  • To assist households out of costly temporary accommodation into alternative suitable
    and affordable accommodation, preventing, relieving and ending homelessness and
  • To deliver a high-quality TA move on service to resident that constantly and
  • consistently meets the needs of residents.
  • To ensure all offers of housing are made in line with the statutory homelessness framework.
  • To ensure the delivery of a coordinated efficient and effective move on service, with the aim to continually improve the quality of life and levels of satisfaction for all residents.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has significant knowledge and experience of the management of temporary accommodation tenants and schemes as well as knowledge and experience of the implementation of the statutory homelessness framework (Legislation, Suitability Order, Caselaw), including assessments, prevention, relief and main duties, TA duties and accommodation offers.
