Our client are a fast growth business.

Due to continued growth they are now looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer and E-marketing / general administration person to generate sales by cold calling, generating e-marketing campaigns and answering customer requests, for a business to business manufacturer.

You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services.

The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele. Experience in E-Marking campaigns - a must

Please note that this is a role where you will have great autonomy and will need to work largely unsupervised with a small team of sales managers, therefore a true "self-starter" is required.

Responsibilities

  • Researching (via internet / Linkedin / company Facebook pages etc) potential customers for products and identifying the right high-level contacts for the sales team to approach.
  • Cold call businesses to generate interest, leads and appointments.
  • Building of various Data Bases for E-Marketing Companies
  • Answer incoming calls from existing and prospective customers.
  • Use calls and e-marketing to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements.
  • Persuade the prospective customer to meet with sales team members to explain how products will help them.
  • Record the customer’s information accurately in a computer system.
  • Go the "extra mile" to meet sales targets and facilitate future sales.
  • Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information.
  • Process orders on the computer system
  • Be the "go to" UK office contact.
  • Ensure the office is organised and filing systems are kept up to date for ISO purposes.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in compiling and running E-Marketing content and activities
  • Working experience with Mailchimp and other similar packages
  • Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
  • Preferably be used to working to sales targets.
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (MS Office, Sage), although training will be provided.
  • Excellent professional communication and presentation skills both in writing and verbally.
  • Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints.
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
