Telephone Fundraiser

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Telephone Fundraiser to join their company.

This is a temporary position with full-time and part-time hours available.

The role is working from home, and the pay rate is £12 per hour (£12.64 London weighting) plus the opportunity to earn bonus each week.

Flexible hours to suit you, 17.5 - 35 hours per week (minimum requirement 17.5 hours per week). The shifts are Monday - Friday, 12:30-4:00pm, 4:30pm-8:00pm or 12:30 pm- 8:00 pm.

If working a split shift pattern, you must do at least the same number of evenings to afternoons.

• Representing a range of charities and non-profits over the phone.
• Having engaging conversations with people about potentially serious subjects.
• Making a strong fundraising ask on a charity’s behalf.
• Speaking with existing supporters who have previously donated or shown an interest in supporting the charities work.
• No 'cold calling’. No monotone calling scripts and a supportive and friendly work environment.

• Proven success in previous telephone or fundraising roles.
• Must be productive, self-motivated, and self-managing.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills transferable to telephone conversations.
• Confident and clear speaking voice.
• Adequate IT skills geared toward using a dialling out calling platform.
• Confidence in making financial ask and the ability to both follow a structure (call guide) and use initiative to personalise calls.
• Ability to perform to target based working environment.

• Laptop or PC running on with MAC or Windows 10 or above.
• Ability to run an Ethernet cable from workstation to internet router as home WIFI is rarely strong enough to support desired sound quality.
