Leading multinational business, looking for an experienced TecOps Lead engineer - responsible for the deployment, maintenance and management of the IT Infrastructure that supports applications, services and end users across the entire group of companies.

You will be primarily responsible for :-

  • Uses automation processes and tools to carry out tasks within AWS such as environment builds, scaling, self-healing, monitoring, and patching.
  • Proactively looks for ways in which the group's AWS infrastructure can be optimised from a performance, security and/or cost point of view.
  • Works closely with Dev / Dev-Ops teams to support their infrastructure requirements.
  • Contributes to the design and build of cloud-based infrastructure and architecture that is optimised for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

You will need to be at beast mode level on the following :-

  • Experience of AWS Services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, Route53, S3, RDS and CloudWatch.
  • Experience in Infrastructure as a code including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker or other container technologies.
  • Scripting skills including Python and Bash.
  • Good understanding of Linux and database technologies such as Ubuntu, Apache, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Nginx, Mercurial and Git.
