Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • Fostering and maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders, promoting collaboration between business and technical teams.
  • Developing and maintaining reports to track essential metrics, utilizing this data to analyse challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Exploring and sharing innovative techniques for data visualization and presentation to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Implementing ITIL practices such as release management, change mangement, incident management, and problem management.
  • Working closely with the customer experience team to analyse trends, ensure adherence to ticketing procedures, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Investigating existing IT processes, understanding business requirements, and providing recommendations for enhancements. Assisting in overseeing third-party relationships.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Logical and analytical approach to problem solving with a passion and a drive to learn.
  • Ability to manage processes and work well with others.
  • High level of accuracy and good attention to detail.
  • An understanding and grasp of information technology
  • Structured approach to work and very well organised. Works well off of checklists & time blocking/time management.
  • Can effectively manage day to day work, alongside apprenticeship qualification.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work well within a team and also be able to work independently.
  • Ability to formulate own opinions by thinking analytically about problems, thinking "outside the box" to resolve issues where required.

The successful applicant will have strong desire to learn and a genuine interest in IT and the financial services industry.

Qualification Required:
A minimum of five GCSEs grade A - C (9 - 4 on the new grading system), and
a Level 3 qualification achieved by one of the following: A levels, NVQ/SVQ Level 3, or a BTEC National

Future Prospects:
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities for career progression within our Enterprise Technology team or other relevant departments based on performance, business needs, and available opportunities. . If recruited into a permanent role, the individual will follow the career progression applicable to the specific role/department.

Training Provided:
As a Technology Business Analyst Apprentice with M&G, you will undertake the Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses

This is a fixed term contract for 2 1 months upon which the business may decide to retain, subject to the Apprentice performance, headcount, and available funding. If recruited into a permanent role, the individual will follow the career progression applicable to the specific role/department.

Salary: £26,000
