Tiro Partners are seeking the expertise of a Technician Machinist for a key client, who provide customisable testing systems within the Automotive sector. This is a permanent vacancy, to work onsite in Leyland. 37hours per week over 4.5 days.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise and work with engineering staff to manufacture parts as required to support the Test Departments using the various manual machines within the shop: Milling machine, Jig borer, Centre lathe, Capstan lathe, Surface and tool grinders
  • Must be competent at reading and reviewing engineering drawings supplied by the test departments.
  • Providing any expertise/advice as necessary with regard to machining process and tolerances etc.
