Technical Trainer - Chromatography

Are you looking for a role enabling you to utilise your Chromatography and Mass Spec skills away from the bench?

In this largely customer facing role, you will design and deliver HPLC/GC/MS training material to a range of clients across the analytical chemistry sector including hospitals, academic institutions, CRO’s and pharmaceutical companies. You will deliver presentations, seminars and practical sessions to small and large groups, focusing on sample analysis, method development and instrument troubleshooting.

This position will cover the South of the UK and you will be expected to lead 2-3 training courses per week (both face-to-face and online), with your other time spent home working, creating and updating training material to improve the portfolio. In addition, you will be involved in consultancy projects to support client analytical requirements and will also be responsible for developing the sales of training and consultancy product lines.

Applications are invited from accomplished Analytical Chemists with strong experience utilising HPLC/GC/ Mass Spectrometry instrumentation. You must have an excellent understanding of the instruments & how they work. You will also be a confident communicator, capable of presenting in front of large groups of people.

The role involves extensive travel and overnight stays, typically 1-2 nights per week, for which in return you will receive a highly competitive salary and car/car allowance.
