Technical Support Specialist

  • Location: east London (Essex)
  • Office based, full-time and permanent role
  • Monday to Friday

Reed Scientific are partnering with a well-established internationally recognised specialist laboratory equipment manufacturer and supplier. Due to growth, they are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist with knowledge of scientific research techniques and confidence advising customers on the product range and capabilities.

Duties of the role include:

  • Providing expert technical information to internal teams as well external customers/stakeholders including product information and troubleshooting
  • Providing capability advice and demonstrations of company products
  • Attending international trade shows to provide product information
  • Discussing proposals with external stakeholders

Skills/experience required:

  • Degree qualification within analytical chemistry or related scientific field
  • Demonstrable knowledge of scientific research techniques and preferably experience working within the scientific research industries or academia
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with external stakeholders and internal teams
